Helping women & couples navigate people-pleasing, anxiety, and relationship challenges
Individual and couples therapy in Burlington, ON and online across Ontario.
Life may look okay from the outside, but inside you're carrying anxiety, self-doubt, and pressure to hold everything together.
If you want more ease, clarity, and connection, you're in the right place.
Maybe you’re noticing…
You've noticed tension building in places that once felt manageable. You want something different, but you're not quite sure how to get there.
Much of your energy may go toward thinking about everyone around you — replaying conversations, holding back what you really think, worrying about disappointing others, and adjusting yourself around people's expectations. Maybe you notice frustration, resentment, or anger building in important relationships.
You can often tell what everyone else needs, but over time, it may have become harder to know what you need. The part of you that learned to manage so much is here for a reason, it just may not be serving you in the same way anymore.

Welcome,
I’m Laura.
I'm a trauma and attachment-informed Registered Psychotherapist providing individual and couples therapy for anxiety, people-pleasing, and relationship patterns that leave people feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves.
Therapy with me will feel like an engaged conversation. I want to understand you beneath the capable exterior and get curious about the patterns that have shaped how you relate to yourself and others. Along the way, I'll share what I'm noticing, offer perspective, and gently challenge you when it feels helpful.
If you're looking for more self-trust, emotional ease, and fulfilling connection, I'd love to support you.
What You Can Expect
Therapy is your space, so come as you are.
You don't need to have a plan, know exactly what to say, or be in crisis to begin. Together, we'll make space for the parts of you that feel capable and put together, as well as the parts carrying doubt, hurt, uncertainty, or longing.
I'll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. You're the expert on your life. My role is to help you make sense of your experiences, notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and support you in moving toward the changes that matter most to you.
Many of the people I work with have spent a great deal of time thinking about why they feel the way they do. Therapy gives us the opportunity to broaden that conversation. Alongside your thoughts, we'll become curious about your emotions, relationships, and the experiences that have shaped you. Together, those different perspectives often reveal patterns—and possibilities—that may be difficult to see from any one place alone.
I'm an active therapist, which means you'll find equal parts validation and gentle challenge. Whether you come for a few months or a few years, my goal is to help you build the insight, confidence, and self-trust to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
